Terms of Use

Version 1.0 · Effective and last updated: August 26, 2026

By downloading or using Trail Trip, you agree to these Terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applicable to App Store applications.

Trail Trip organizes and visualizes fitness records. It is not a medical device, emergency service, or substitute for professional navigation, medical advice, or on-site risk assessment.

1. License and applicable terms

Trail Trip is licensed, not sold, through the Apple App Store. In addition to these product-specific supplemental terms, your license is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. If they conflict, applicable law and provisions of Apple's Standard EULA that cannot be displaced by supplemental terms control.

2. Acceptable use

You may use Trail Trip on devices and accounts permitted by Apple's rules for personal fitness records, route organization, statistics, and sharing. You must not use it to violate rights, distribute unlawful material, evade subscription entitlements, undermine security, or engage in conduct prohibited by law or Apple's terms.

3. Health, maps, and safety

4. User content, imports, and sharing

You retain rights in trip names, notes, photos, GPX files, and other content you create or lawfully obtain. You are responsible for having the right to import, store, and share it and for protecting recipients and exported files. Do not import or distribute material that infringes privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.

5. iCloud, backups, and data availability

Optional iCloud sync depends on your Apple Account, CloudKit, network, quota, and Apple service availability. Conflicts, device changes, or outages may delay sync. Keep suitable manual backups of important content and protect backup passwords; the developer cannot recover a lost password. Pausing sync does not automatically delete existing cloud data.

6. Trail Trip Pro subscription

Trail Trip Pro offers auto-renewing monthly or annual subscriptions through the App Store. The purchase screen controls the actual price, currency, trial eligibility, and period. Apple charges your Apple Account after confirmation. Unless canceled within Apple's required time before the current period ends, the subscription renews automatically. Manage, cancel, or restore it in your Apple Account subscriptions; Apple handles refunds under its policies.

Entitlements may evolve between versions, subject to applicable law and App Store rules for a purchased period. Core trips, statistics, imports and exports, manual backups, and iCloud sync currently do not require Pro. Pro mainly unlocks professional poster capabilities; see the in-app purchase screen for current details.

7. Availability and changes

We may update the app for fixes, security, compatibility, or product improvements. Features that depend on Apple services or system versions may not always be available in every region. We use reasonable efforts to maintain the app but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” The developer makes no warranty regarding sensor errors, map errors, user actions, third-party outages, lost passwords, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights. Other warranty disclaimers and liability limits are governed by Apple's Standard EULA and applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using and delete the app at any time. Your license may terminate under Apple's Standard EULA if you materially breach these terms. Termination does not automatically delete exported files, manual backups, support email, or data previously synced to iCloud; follow the separate controls in the Privacy Policy.

10. Contact and updates

Send questions to support.trailtrip@yytech.ltd. We may update these Terms and their date, with notice in the app or release notes where appropriate for material changes.
